The World Poker Tour has published the complete schedule for its 2026 World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, with the closing series of Season 24 offering $20 million in guaranteed prize money across over 85 events staged over 25 days between 27 November and 21 December.
The festival’s centrepiece is the $10,400 no-limit hold’em WPT World Championship, running from 13 to 20 December, which has been given a fresh twist for 2026. Organisers will add $1 million in cash and prizes to the event via mystery bounties, with that sum sitting on top of the standard prize pool rather than being taken from it.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska said the tour’s continued partnership with Wynn Las Vegas has helped establish the World Championship as a benchmark event for players.
“With our partnership with Wynn Las Vegas, the WPT World Championship has become the gold standard for player experience, venue, and fun. We look forward to continuing our celebration of players at all levels in our efforts to give them an unparalleled experience,” Pliska said.
Alongside the main event, the schedule introduces another headline tournament in the Super Gold Million, a $400 buy-in mystery bounty event carrying a $3 million guarantee. It is set to run from 10 to 14 December. In total, nine tournaments on the calendar carry guarantees of $1 million or more.
The single largest guarantee of the series belongs to the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship, which promises $5 million and runs across an eight-day span from 5 to 12 December. Other notable fixtures include the $1,600 pot-limit Omaha event guaranteeing $1 million from 13 December, and a $3,000 no-limit hold’em event with a $2 million guarantee beginning on 17 December.
The programme features a broad mix of formats beyond standard no-limit hold’em, including pot-limit Omaha, mixed games such as H.O.R.S.E. and T.O.R.S.E., limit Omaha eight-or-better, Big O and mixed triple draw variants, catering to a wide range of buy-in levels from $400 up to $25,800.
For those unable to travel to Las Vegas, the WPT confirmed that livestream coverage of the festival will run from 6 to 21 December, covering the bulk of the series including the World Championship itself. Full details of every event, including buy-ins, guarantees and starting flights, have been made available through the WPT and Card Player tournament databases.
