Cut Cards

Cut Cards are often referred to as Postillions (or Postilions), from the French word Postillon and Italian word Postiglione, meaning "forerunner".

Originally used to denote the driver of a horseback carriage whom would sit at the front to guide the way, this term has been adopted to refer to this item as they will lead decks of cards to a table.
