Mullaly, who is from Rye, New York, picked up his first PGT title with the victory. PokerGO announced the result on Wednesday 14 October. The WPT had confirmed Pillamarapu’s win a day earlier, on Tuesday 13 October.

Pillamarapu’s free route to the title

Pillamarapu won his seat in the WPT Prime Championship through a true freeroll with a $0 entry, then went on to take the title.

The result transforms a modest record. Before this event, his only tournament cash was worth $381.

Mullaly’s PGT breakthrough

For Mullaly, the Poker Masters win is the first time his name has been attached to a PGT title. His victory came in the first event of the 2026 series.
